The place of my original arrival to US almost exactly 29 years ago. While i did live here for my first 3 years in US, i'm happy just to be passing through now. Although, who could forget the Big Red machine of those years.

Haunting memories

Everywhere in Germany there are monuments produced by common guilt. This memorial in Bad Homburg was erected in memory of its jewish citizens murdered by the Nazis. The difficult problem is that some of mr. Straus' customers were the ones who helped make them dead. Or at least looked the other way. It remains diffcult to recncile. And it remains a major scar on the psyche of all germans. Yet, the young generation is frustrated. As far as they are concerned they are being blamed for something they had nothing to do with.

Herr. Straus

Michael is Park Hotel's manager. He is a shining example of efficiency, frienfliness, and organization. It warms one's soul to see him patiently explain to his 80something customers directions to the mud baths and mineral waters.

During the original project named Phoenix eveyone got a custom painted phoenix themed tir. Herman has his. I have one somewhere as well.
